Just curious if anyone follows this blog...if not--I'm going to delete it unless you comment in the comment field or email me at kce14@hotmail.com. Thanks for supporting Trav.
Now that I know it's here, I'll be checking it out! You're an awesome sister to go to all the work of setting this up. Trav looks awesome, and I agree with you about how interesting it is to see what the elders wear on p-day.
Christmas calls will be limited to only 1 hour and Travis can ONLY talk to immediate family.
Packages--send Christmas packages to the mission office via U.S. Post Office--first-class, priority, flat rate-NOT by FedEx or UPS, or Parcel Post. Mark the package with "Christmas" so that every missionary gets a Christmas package on the 25th. NEED IDEAS?: clothing (white shirts, socks, gloves, conservative neck scarf), non perishable treats, thermometer, medical items over the counter, tooth brush, band aids. Money is very popular and also stamps or a gift card to Walmart of other gift cards that apply to missionaries. I always preferred getting sent stickers, little candies and toys like bouncy balls or whistles, to give away to those we visited who didn't receive anything. Supportive letters and kind words of encouragement are always welcomed! Thanks!
